Alexander Reisach

I am currently a PostDoc (pre-appointment) at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d’Orsay, where I am working with Gilles Blanchard. I will be defending my PhD in Applied Mathematics in December 2025; I have been a PhD candidate at the MAP5 laboratory of Université Paris Cité under the supervision of Antoine Chambaz since 2022. During that time, I have also visited CoCaLa at the University of Copenhagen, collaborating with Sebastian Weichwald. My main research interests are causal inference and statistical learning theory. My goal is to develop algorithms with a rigorous theoretical foundation based on realistic assumptions. I am also interested in applications, for example in economics and systems biology.
